Leftover furniture and bags are the most common reason move-outs run late. Here is how to clear an apartment fast so the final walkthrough goes smoothly.

Start one week out
- Decide what moves, what gets donated and what goes
- Book your haul-away for 1–2 days before the walkthrough
- Reserve the elevator or loading dock with the leasing office
- Ask where the crew can park
What usually gets left behind
Mattresses and bed frames, particle-board furniture that won't survive another move, patio furniture, TVs, and bags of clothes and kitchen items. We take all of it from any floor.
What it costs
A single mattress starts at $25 and a couch at $30. For a full room or more, load pricing usually works better: from $99 for 1/8 of a trailer. Every order adds the $49 area service fee, and stairs are $10 per flight when there's no elevator.
On pickup day
Point to what goes and the crew carries it out. Once it's clear you can sweep, wipe down and take your move-out photos.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you pick up from an upper-floor apartment?
Yes. We carry items down by elevator or stairs. Stairs without an elevator are $10 per flight, shown before you book.
Do I need to be there?
Someone should be there to let the crew in and confirm what goes, or leave clear instructions with the leasing office.
How fast can you come?
Same-day and next-day pickups are often available. Book online to see open times.
